manufctures have recomended frequency ranges on there subs. Im looking at replacing my 12" kicker cvx with a 15" alphasonik 800 series. My question is kicker showes 15-500 for there 15" subs 20-500 on the 12" I have. alphasonik shows the 15 as 20-500 and there 12 24-500 so that being said. the 15" alphasonik wont play as deep as my 12" kicker?:( do I understand that right:detective:

how low the sub will play is enclosure dependent.

Do not look at those numbers...subwoofers aren't mean to play anything higher than 80-100 Hz anyways...a sub playing 500Hz and down would sound like complete ass.

Alphasonik is a crappy brand owned by Audiobahn I think....or the same group...still I wouldn't buy it.

The CVX will rape the Alphasonik

those numbers don't mean much at all...how low the sub will play is still enclosure dependent
