subs connection to amp

    It appears that the subs are wired series, so each speaker will be an 8 ohm......(assuming each voice coil is 4 ohm). Next the subs are each wired together in parellel by the jumper wire on the outside of the box.....this will create an effective 4 ohm load to your amp...


    by the way, thanks for the pics! Wish more folks did that, makes it SO much easier to help out!!!!!

    so if i ran the one speaker cable to the amp how would i connect it?

    bridge or 1 channel etc?

    or should i connect speaker cables to each side of the box and run it through 2 chanels?

    it used to have just the one pair of wires running from my sub to the amp

    What impedance are the subs??

    I'd wire it all up parallel parallel to the amp if the subs are both dual 4 ohms
