Hi, i have 2 12" re audio re12s dual 4 and a Insignia amp which is 360watts bridged @ 4ohms and 200x2 @ 2ohms. Anyways i had the subs connected together and then bridged to the amp which what i assume is a 4ohm load, this is the diagram i went by and how i had them hooked up http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutch...nter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2DVC_4-ohm_mono.jpg

I may be wrong about having a mono amp and bridging a 2 channel amp being the same thing but the subs sounded good and clean but since i kinda had a feeling that was the wrong way to hook them up and also @ 2ohms i would have more power so i went ahead and hooked the subs up to 2 channels like this http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutch...enter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2DVC_4-ohm_2ch.jpg

I checked the wiring twice and even did the 9v battery test on the subs and everything seems to be wired correctly but now the subs dont sound as good and when i watch the subs they look as if they are moving in instead of out when the bass hits. So anyone have any suggestions?

Would your amp have a phase switch? Maybe your amp is in reverse polarity?

Make sure your didnt wire them backwards and positive is on positive and negative on negative! Or like the above post. Phase switch?
