okay, so I have been researching and troubleshooting this problem for about a month. I look everywhere and all things that point to this I have tried. I checked rcas, shortened the rca betweeen my eq/hu, checked my remote, set my gain with dmm. I don't know what else to try. Everything was fine until I put my eq in
i had the same issue with with my system when i installed an EQ as well. it got so annoying i took mine out. someone told me what was doing it once.... something about one turning off before the other and a delay circuit could be added or something. mine still has a slight thump though, but didn't before the EQ was added. so what i try to do is turn off the radio before a turn off the ignition. thats the only time i have the thump.
yeah I have been doing that but has been quite annoying. I am considering wiring my eq to start off my fuse block rather the head unit remote turn on. leaving the remote on the HU being solely for the sub amp.
