I like symmetry.

this is sorta what I want to do with my trunk. but i don't have as much space as this picture, AND, i have to fit a 12W7 H.O. Box, 1000/1, and a 450/4.

help me out. maybe people have better ideas.

 

go with somthing functional.how often do you use the trunck?

 

I use to work with this guy back in 99' he had a dodge truck he cut out four metal rings behind the seat. Some how welded the truck bed to cab put thick sheet metal over top of bed. Made truck bed enclosure and screwed the subs into the cutout holes, behind the seat, craziest install I ever seen to this day.

One huge mtx amp, not sure . You couldn't hear his system coming but going you could how strange..

 

wow, something i can actually explain lol.

the reason you could hear it coming and not going is called Doppler Effect. If you're going 35mph then the sound is moving forward, and all that's getting behind you is really nothing because sound follows the truck. Just like an ambulance or a jet, when it's coming forward then its alot louder, once it passes, you can't really hear it.

Learned it in Physics and Chemistry.

 

actually in the doppler effect...if you are stationary and the sound is coming TOWARD you the tones sound higher in pitch and when the sound is going AWAY from you the tones sound lower in pitch.

the source is emitting sound waves and traveling in the direction of the waves further compressing them and making them sound higher in pitch...when going away from you the source is emmiting sound waves behind it and moving away from the waves further making the waves longer and sound lower in pitch

pretty general explaination...we went over this in physics last quarter

 

Yup azn, exactly, I need to stop sleeping, but I think they get the point of the doppler effect, and why it does it.
