special made kicker box

    i was just wondering if the boxes kicker makes for there subs are actually ported right and sound good? i found a set of kicker L5s for sale with the kicker box with the port on the side. i know somebody here had one and loved it. also whats the difference between the Kicker 12" L5 and L7?

    im sure the box would be decent, they just tend to design to make them univerisal-ish for the variety of vehicles out there. I'd still do a custom one though for sure. L7s basically have more power handling

    those boxes dont really play deeep bass well. ive heard from first hand experience.

    tuning is around 38Hz I think...and the enclosure is too small...IMO they don't sound that great

    block the port and turn em into a sealed box and the l5s get down and deep.
