soundstream or power acoustik?

    Hey er1,

    New to this scene. Thought i'd give it a try. Well lately I've been hunting for a 2 chanel amp to power my 2 phoenix gold rsd 10's. (500rms each, 4ohm dvc). Since its my first system and I blem all my dough on the dvd foldout head unit, i'm kinda tight with my pocket i gotta buy a second hand amp.

    2 of my friends have offered me an amp.

    1. soundstream van gogh (VGA800.2) 400rms at 2 ohm x 2 for $300NZ

    or

    2. POWER ACOUSTIK SAPHIRE (SP2X-1600) 370rms at 2ohm x 2 for $225NZ

    PLEASE HELP! Your inputs and opinions are well aprreciated. :)

    how do you plan on wiring them up? 4ohm mono or 1 ohm mono?

    or 2 ohm stereo?
