I have been looking for information on this amp but cant find much.I am wondering if anyone has used it or knows anything and could tell me about it quality wise and output. is it truly 1700 rms @ 1ohm? I will toss in my 2 cents. I havent messed with a Soundstream in probably 15 years. When I did, i found them to be a nice amp, great sound quality and good looking. Somee of the first generation amps were a bit "noisy" as far as picking up engine noise , but later generation amps became more rugged and reliable. I installed dozens of them and always liked them, used them in a few SQ cars that competed and they did good. Also did a car using them for SPL....It cranked and the amps didnt seem to mid the low impedance loads.
im not sure about this one but i have an old Soundstream Rubicon 5 channel the amp hasnt been treated nicely till i got it but its awesome and pushes well over its rated power it seems.
