My friend stole me some roofing insulation from Ace Depot. Its a fat role of about 1 inch wide foam with one sticky side. This stuff actually worked......lol

I just applied about 5 feet of it to the part where the trunk meets the bumper and the rattling has reduced a great deal. I also applied a little piece behind my rear view which seemed to work a bit as well. The trunk still rattles a bit but no where as bad.

Now all is left is the rest of my car.........but I dont think it would be possible to use this kinda insukation for anything else.

BTW, I went to get my car inspected an they had to do the shock test and spring test. They stand the car on 4 vibration plates which shake the shit outta the car. It was fun watching but when i got the car back everythign was rattling inside. A few jabs to random parts of the car solved the problems though :D
