Would this set-up be any good for extreme bass?
Only thing Sony I would buy is there higher end Xplode decks...everything else including subs and amps suck balls...My opinion will be backed up by others I gaurentee that. A capacitor will not be necessary...upgrade your big three first...4 gauge is good...Look at www.knukoncepts.com...I just got a 4 gauge kit from there and it is awesome...comes with everything for only 48 bucks...and there 4 gauge is actually like 3 gauge..2084 strands I think...bigger than the Kicker Hyperflex cable. Good suggestion would be for you to tell us what car, budget, how much space you wanna take up...thanks
also whats so bad about 15' sony subs? do they not do something that any other sub should be able to do ?
lol why do with 15"s when you could do the same if not better with 12"s. im gonna cover this site with these subs cause my friend has em and they hit hard as hell.lol subs http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=3507 head unit http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=16815 amp http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14934 its not all one brand but if you buy em you wont regret it. just cause the sub is bigger dont mean it will always hit harder. and well it is a sony sub....sony is known for its Televisions and Gamesystems...and they should stick to what they do best...not subs lol their car audio sucks.
Caddy that is not entirely true...read this http://www.adireaudio.com/Files/TechPapers/WooferSpeed.pdf
hey man in my experiance and what ive been told 15s great for comps but in a free air thing ie a hatchback or suv you can hear a lag
Well im not trying to be in a comp. I just want my mirrors to shake and the passanger to smile when they feel how hard it hits. whats a good set-up that is less then $1,000? I think that one that one guy gave was ok but any other recommendations ?
Indeed...I know its true because I have a 15 inch woofer...ahh haha Busted...I know from experience and having the same woofer as Caddy...if you buy all three of his subs and a Memphis MC1000D you will be very pleased...The three old school dub 6's are dual 6 ohm coils so the setup can be wired all in parallel to present the 1000D with a 1 ohm load...which it is stable at...also that amp is rated at 1100 watts at 1 ohm...which the subs can take...they are UNDERRATED...by a large amount
No, Lanzar sucks balls. Please just do yourself a favor and get two JL W3v3 with a 500/1. That'll be plenty for your little car.
