I have an 05 Silverado extended cab, im looking to put a sub in the back. have relly been leaning toward the RF p3 Shallow mount. i have two questions, for the best bass what would be better the duel 4 ohm or the duel 2 ohm. I am really clueless about car audio. my second question what would be the best amp for one 12" of either the duel 4 or duel 2 ohm? sorry for the newb question, i havent been into car audio for awhile now.
If you go with dual 4 ohm you can use a 2 ohm stable amp, if you go with dual 2 ohm you will need a 1 ohm stable amp. As for whats better it does not matter it wont change sound quality but it will change how much power your amp puts out. As for what amp to buy, there are hundreds, Jl Audio, Kicker, Fosgate, MTX, Infinity, Hifonics etc etc
