Last night I was driving home and my amp/subs just cut out and there was a burning smell. I couldn't tell from where. I checked all my connectors and they're all tight and seemingly ok. However my amp is not turning on. I'm assuming the amp is fried but I want to be sure before I buy another one. I am getting power to it (I disconnected the power cable and touched it to a ground to find that it sparked). I do not know how to check the blue signal wire that goes from the head unit to the amp but I assume that is fine because it is new than amp and both ends look perfect fine (no cracks, breaks, or discoloration). How can I test the amp to see if it is fried or is this just a sure thing that its gone?
