as the title says.... I'm considering dropping my Orion p6.2 comps in place of RE RE comps. They are roughly the same price. I love Orion's really I do. They are very very good comps. In fact I've only heard 1 setup better. And that was a custom 3-way job... with dedicated 8" subs for mid basses... All ID stuff. I have 2 7" midbasses per door playing up to 500 hz... and the Orion's are midrange and tweet duty. It's pretty much a perfect setup... And it's keeps up with my 2 18" SXs I wanna try these RE's.... because I absolutely LOVE my SXs... and the more RE the better in my mind.... Is it worth the trouble of switching.... I'm basically just trading them.... as I won't lose or spend any money. An All RE car is appealing to me.....
HAHA true..... But all RE speakers is always tempting...... But you're right.... the more I think about it the more it seems pointless. I mean especially with the frequency range I'd be limiting the comps to.... 500-20k..... No midbass at all.....
