Shopping for a HU

    Well now we all know that my car is a nice gutted machine and that I will be driving a rental while its in the shop :(

    Now I need to start searching for a newer and better HU :p
    Im willing to spend about $250 for one. I ahve my eyes on a Pioneer DEH-P6400 or a 7400. What else should I look into?

    Offtopic: how come half my smilies dont work?

    If you want an mp3 player for that price, i'd look into the JVC SH-707. One of the best mp3 players on the market from what i've heard. Its certainly faster than the Pioneer 7400, i can personally vouch for that.

    My Kenwood is pretty quick reading the MP3's too. If I were to get a new head unit I would get an Alpine.
