I was looking to getting either 1 or 2 JL TW5 13"... What is everyones opinion on them?? Looking into getting 1 or 2. I have a 98 Silverado Ext Cab. I want something that will hit hard and can be felt/heard a ways away. I had 2 10" CVXs and the got ripped out. Is there anyway to compare them?? I like the CVX's but unfortunately they will not fit under my seat do to the lack of space. Any other suggestions for loud and hard hitting shallow mounts?? Thanks
I have not used that sub, but I have used the Pioneer thin mount a couple of times. In both cases the thin mount woofer worked very well. In both cases, the woofers were installed in a ported enclosure, built to Pioneers specs.
