Im having troubles getting a good mix of SQ and just plain old loud bass.. I have a 2000 GMC Sierra extended cab and I would like to keep the back seat available if possible. Right now I have a 12" Power Acoustik Fubar in about a .90 cubic foot sealed box and it sucks.. Obviously that sub needs more air space but with the limited amount of room I didnt really know what to do. So I guess my question is this: Should I go for a shallow mount set-up or does anyone else have any ideas? Amp: Pioneer 760 watt 4 channel..
i heard a 15" fubar a while back and it was loud but SQ wasnt really up there but they're decent. your box is probably your issue.
If I go ported though wont I kinda be going in the wrong direction since ill need an even bigger box than usual? Has anyone ever heard the Rockford P3L-S12? http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Prod...75&searchdisplay=Rockford Fosgate&i=575P3LS12 I checked out the ED's and from reading the reviews they sound like a nice sub.. Anyone here actually have them?
eD is a very solid product i have heard from everyone. i plan on ordering 4 13kv.2's. if it was me i would go for that sub, cause i was gonna get one for my truck but i was short on cash. so, instead of those i got a couple EHQS subs instead and they were a cheap, but effective product.
those punch subs are junk, i have been told that the only Rockford subs that are worth buying are the power series.
They have very good reviews. azn was using a 19Ov.2 before. I think even jonnyv713 has had some eD subs in the past. I'll be installing my 2 13Ov.2's this weekend. I'll try to post some vids so you can decide.
well i think im gonna end up going with two 10's.. gonna be getting a nice box thats made for my truck that fits under the seat perfectly.. each sub chamber is about 1 cubic foot so with that info what would you guys suggest?
