My wife had a 2003 Buick LeSabre Celebration Edition that was completely tricked out, including a factory radio that, for most radio stations, showed an info scroll that gave the radio station's frequency, call sign, the artist, and the song playing. What is that feature called, and what kind of units have that feature? I asked at Best Buy, and the guy there knew what I was talking about, and thought it was a standard feature of HD radio, but couldn't get it to show up on any of the demo units.
RDS, it called Radio Data System. I had an older Kenwood that had RDS. The problem was that here in Abilene there is only two stations that transmitted that info. So around here it was a worthless feature
