Well the price of the Dayton DVC 15 incher has gone down to $99 http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=295-190&dotd=111706 I found an old school Kicker 15 CVR that is also $99 http://www.audio-warehouse.com/web/mdl/03CVR15-2/detail.asp About the same power handling...which ever one I get it's gonna go into a sealed box for space savings. Which would you choose??
Dayton, for a few reasons! first, its efficinecy is ALOT higher..this makes it louder and easier for your amp to reproduvce more dyanmic range at lower levels of output. second, Its just a classic speaker design, i aint onto the chrome, fancy, shiny, "LOOK AT ME, I AM A SUBWOOER!!!!" look third, i really want someone on here to get one, put it in a decent enclosure and see how they perform...the numbers look good, but never know till its tried out. I say Dayton, definatley!!!!!!!!! Besides, you may be able to stomp some ass with that thing.....and all your buddies will go WOW!!!!! a cheap ass what kind of speaker??? Dayton, never heard of them.....And you smile as there subs suck it down!!!!!!!
Well...if there's a good snow this winter I'll make some money shoveling driveways....35 bucks a driveway and walkway doesn't sound too bad doesn't it??? I was leaning towards the Dayton...we always recommend them to people but none of us has heard one in person lol
i saw a box with 4 6.5 woofers in the projects page on parts exprees in the back of a trans am. http://www.partsexpress.com/projectshowcase/firebird/index.htm this looked cool.
I've already read through all of those...I was thinking about gettin four 6.5 inch woofers for the hell of it lol
