Sales Site v2

    Ok I did this up today

    (bare in mind I have onlyu about 4rs vested in the new design and it is only applied to ONE page, if you click any link it will take you to the OLD design


    my qestion is

    Should I adobt this one over the other one?


    Persoanlly I think this new on is ALOT better

    and I will be giving more time to the top graphic as it need a few things

    and the right side colum with the shopping cart contents will also house the best sellers list and specials box once I add products and specials

    I don't think there's enough of a difference to warrant a complete overhaul of the old site. My vote is for you to just get one of em finished so we can browse through and drool again :).

    ohh and changing the lay out is not what is slowing me up with adding products, the layout would take me 2 days topps


    I have over 75 Brands, with over 12 Dirsibutors now that I have to Organize, get all the Prices for Each brand for each one of them (luckly must of them have web sites now) then have to make a spreadsheet for each brand outlining all the prices (since each distrbutor has a differant price) find the highest price, calulate my selling price

    then go to all my competitors and see if my price is Competitive, if not I have to find a way to lower it, mhich in most cases mean dropping 1-2 sources for that item as that distributors price is too high.....


    Plus I am always looking for new brands and Distributors


    Just because you dont see anything, does not mean nothing is happening

    I am going to import almost all products at once, so it will go from being No Products to fully loaded with over 3,0000 Products in a day :unsure:

    Well, in that case, i'm partial to the new site. Just because its darker and easier to read.

    Ok I have a Fixed projected Roll out of the site


    I have changed the Header of the pages

    Ok now of for the Roll out

    from Today through Monday I will be Updated all the Core Pages for the New layout

    from Monday 3/24 to Sat 3/29 I will be adding the Following brands

    better Audio
    Hollywood
    Hifonics
    Earthquake
    Crunch
    JVC
    Pioneer & Premier
    Alpine
    Sound Streme
    Power Acoutics

    From Sun 3/30 through Thur 4/3 I will add the following Brands
    SPL Audio
    Digital Audio
    Fusion
    Kenwood
    Kicker
    MTX
    PPI
    orion

    Once that is done, I will with Update the DNS setting and Offically open the new store publicy

    and will then perodically add the other brands and Information

    I hope I can keep to this scheduale, and I for see no reason whay I can not
