ok payday im gonna get a cheap 4 channel amp that does like 50rms x 4 for my door speakers. the fronts are memphis 5x7s and the rear are infinity 5x7s each has a movable tweeter in the center anyway i was wondering how you go about running your speaker wire to the amp from the speakers. do you just unhook your speakers from your headunit and run it from there or do you guys go and run your own speaker wire from the speaker. its a small amp and ill probally try putting it up under the dash kinda where you put your feet but outa the way tucked up somewhere. anyway sorry for sounding so noobish. never ran a 4 channel amp tho.

What id do is just take the factory wire off the speakers in the doors and just cap/tape them off just incase you sell the car and take the system out so you can easily hook another radio back up. Then get your self some wire and run it from the speakers rite to the amp, and your set.

-sorry i didnt answer the whole thing i gotta get to work!

Yup. Run new wire. Cap the existing wire off. Get a 4 channel. I just bought (won off ebay) a 4 channel sony xplod amp. 500 watt max 50x4 rms and 100x4 max and only give $36.00 for it. So I would go 4 channel ,that just me though. I'm not sure how to hook 4 spkers to two channels (there is a way though) parallel I think. But yea. Just get a 4 channel.
