The power to my amp will turn on but when my RCAs are plugged in no music will come out of my subwoofers..yet, if my RCAs are slightly pulled out, i have constant bass that doesnt play up-to-beat and doesnt stop...i have tried a friends amp and it works with the same setup....solutions anyone?

it sounds like the rca's are pinched somewhere.and are grounding out.

edit. i miss read the last sentance.if the other amp works then maybe your amp has somthing wrong with it.take it to a repair shop, but know some places charge for that.

i've called around and most wanted a minimum of $40.00 to look at it.(when i had an amp that needed repair)

It sounds like the amp needs to be repaired or atleast looked at.

if you no someone with an amp with rca outs on it try runing you rca's through his amp instead of your deck and see what happens if it still does the same thing it would be your amp
