RCA ouputs bad on my HU?

    So....My head unit plays music fine to my speakers. However I tried to install my subwoofer and amplifier and can't get the subwoofer to play. The amplifier turns on and shows normal voltage across the power, ground and rem wires. My RCA cables show nothing. I tried another set of RCA cables but they also showed no voltage. Is there a problem with the RCA output on my head unit?

    maybe your head unit has an on off switch for the sub.

    It does have an on/off feature on the display but it is listed as on.
