I’ve been looking for an inexpensive but decent quality subwoofer for my 94 Chevy pickup for a few months now. Browsing walmart.com a couple of days ago I ran across an RCA 8” 120W Amplified Bass Injection System. Upon further research I found a 10” 240W RCA Amplified Bass Injection System for twenty dollars more that looks exactly the same, just bigger. I’ve not been able to find reviews on either one. Has anyone heard anything about either of these bass systems and does anyone have any other suggestions.

I was not aware that RCA made car audio subs. If its like any of their other stuff id stay away from it. Stick with Bazooka tubes, they have been around for a long time and their tubes are pretty good. I have a 10 inch tube that I installed a Kicker CVR dual 2 ohm 10 incer. its quite loud and goes very deep. What kind of amp are you going to use??

I’m not using an amp. I’m going to run a line from the deck to the mono subwoofer amp on the back of the tube. Assuming I get it

Welcome! ah, those are one of the powered subs. I wouldn't buy it, RCA isn't a known brand in car audio and since walmart is selling them they must be pretty cheap.

What kind of budget are you working with?
