"Domestic Rice" page! Also, will be updating soon....

To all those "import" car owners who are sick of hearing Domestic car owners talking about "rice" rides like that's an accurate representation of how "import" cars are really done...

I have always maintained that there are more DOMESTIC cars on the road that have modifications that are done in poor taste..
Cheesy, wannabe-macho, wanna be like everyone else ugliness...

And I finally have photographic proof...

I had thought about starting a page like this, but never thought about it off-line...

Just happened to be spending the day in Niagara Falls, Ontario (I live in Buffalo, NY, a short distance from there), and I just happened upon an all-GM car show in a park... and I just happened to have my camera on me...

And this is the result, my "Domestic Rice Exposed" page:
    http://www.teamcaf.org/geolemon/DomesticRice

And since I put the page together, I have taken quite a few more shots of a few more cars...
I need to update the site, I am going to try to do that soon...

But as-is, there is PLENTY to observe at that circus of a show! :D

well lets start the bs fest

ohh since you found domestic rice, import rice is justified now?
Most of them prolly wanted hondas but got a focus, or cavalier instead! They would rice a 57 chevy if they could!:bs:

And it was functional. The Car was designed so they could race NASCAR. The thing was, a certain amount of the cars body style had to be available to the public. In those days they were "stock" cars. I belive it was 100 in production. It is a VERY rare car. A steal for a quarter mill now.

    I can't believe I'm defending a Slowpar...

MOPAR= Mittsubishi's... Over... Priced... American... Replicar

    Sandt...
When you come up here, if you can make it to my house, I will show you the full set of pictures...

There seriously were only like 2 cars that wouldn't make my "rice" page...
And that's only because I am open-minded enough to LIKE modern lowrider style vehicles (I subscribe to Lowrider Euro magazine to see those unique rides, and build lowrider-style hotwheels customs!)!

And I have a few more cars saved that I just haven't updated the page with yet.... :D

Ack... I didnt know they had a J Body show. I could have entered my almost classic 4 door 84' Sunbird. I'd better get some headlight covers first so I dont get laughed at.

    I got a couple Emails..
From people asking why I was picking on the J-body domestics!

Just for the record, I am not picking on J-body domestics in particular...
it just happens that I attended a J-body show, and it was full of fresh fruit, so I just happen to have quite a few good J-body "rice" shots in my collection at this point!

I have a few more now (non-J-body)... I will have to update the site when I get a chance and add them! ;)
