Hey guys, Im back and this time I got a Dodge ram 1500. Now I still have questions about this list Im pondering on picking up. Pioneer 6800 Headunit Kicker 05CVR12-4 4ohm Subs (2) Kenwood KAC-9152D amp JL Audio XR 650CSI components Helix Darkblue 2 400w component amp Power Acoustik Kit-2g amp Wiring Its about 8-900$ for all, and probably over 1000$ for shipping. Would this system to really well in the dodge ram? Moneys not a problem for me wich I know so many people have, but if you see something else that could be really better for the best bass and quality sound. Looking forward to replys.
 finally someone who knows good audio except for the helix i have no experiance with them so i cant say yay or nay
Thanks mate, I am not all the familiar with audio but I do my best, Im a faster learner what can I say. Anyways, about the helix, it is an old amp, but I hear good things about it but I would like more input on people who have seen this amp in action and what it can do without distortion?
How about an Alpine PDX 1.1000 and the Alpine PDX 4.150...stackable so cleaner cool looking install...also the new icepower whatever class D high efficiency stuff...less strain on you electrical system.
x2 on the alpines.. good clean power, and very nice looking, too.. if money is no object, then try the colossus.. just kidding.. they're killers
Dont kid^_^ Ill look into them, would the 2 alpines do the job for some colossus subs and etc. I want very good sound quality with good bass at the same time, and do you think this would fit into a Dodge ram 2500?? Yes my mistake I put 1500 before, its a 2500 with lightning down the sides and a fire grill. Ill try and get pictures ASAP EDIT :: http://www.loudspeakersplus.com/html/colossus18b-600.html Would these 600watters do the job, for 500$ I sure hope so I plan on getting 2 EDIT :: http://www.pricegrabber.com/p__Alpine_Alpine_PDX_4_150_150W_x_4_Car_Amplifier,__18659788/ For 500$ for 1?? Insane ..... I guess... Anyway you're saying grab 2 of these? Im not quite sure on that mate. Deffinatly 1 , but not 2, but would 1 be enough to power 2 collosus's with 2 subs in the back?
The 4 channel for the speakers and either one or two of the 1.1000's for the colossus...you pay for quality...and dude...these amps are just plain sexy
sounds like a sweet truck, bunk.. the hifonics colossus and brutus are some very nasty amps.. and the colossus sub is nasty as hell too, for that matter.. might be a little hairy-er than what you want to get into.. google them.. You'll see.
