Question about line level converters

    Just a quick question. If you add a line level converter to a factor 4 speaker deck, so you can run a sub, do you tap into the existing speaker lines? If so wouldn't that change the impedance of the output and potentially cause the speaker to put out more power than its rated for?

    Or do these line level converters have really high impedance?

    Or are you expected to disconnect a set of speakers?

    Just splice it in, the radio won't even know its there.
