Question about audio capacitors

    Hi,
    How much farads do I need per watts?
    an example is: If I have a 4000Watts amplifier how many farads does my capacitor need to be?

    What if my capacitor has more Farads then I need?

    what kind of car are we talking about? first thing to do is upgrade your wiring. i.e the BIG 3.

    now if your driving an ity bity car with a small alt then you'll deff need more power under the hood and a few batts to back up the amp as well.


    i know a kid with a 3000 watt amp in a mini cooper and if he's not beating it it kinda keeps up, but when he cranks it everything dims.

    im sure its not good for the alt or the battery.
