omg! i just put my kicker 10 in the corner of my living room and hooked it up to my yamaha sub amp and DAMB!! son it gots deep bass!!

its rated @ 70 watts at 5 ohms and my 10 is wired @2 ohms.

i'll rewire soon. so anyways i'm watching I AM LEGEND and the first few min is him driving thru the city hunting for game and he slams the brakes and skids to a stop... well you can FEEL the motor as it comes to a stop.

kinda like a sine sweep 50 to..ima say 30's. i literally felt it run thru the couch:eek:

    i need more power !!!!!

i do have a inexpensive KLH 10in active sub with a 100 watt amp. that dont even come close to this kicker.

i think im going to break somthing tonight.lol

    ok back to my movie.

well its lookin like i am gonna be buildin at least 2 boxes this summer! lol could u help me design one of those t-lines? i dont need it in any hurry i got all the time in the world for that. its just the car for now. i think i am gonna buy that pontiac grand prix that i was talkin about, cause it turns out to be not a bad car at all wit a broken motor mount, a piece of trim gone, and bad breaks. all that can be fixed for about $150.

how do you wire these to your entertainment center? my subs and amp are sitting in my living room under the tv, they wanna beat but don't have a car to go in, they do have a house to go in......

well a while back i disconnected the 8in sub from my yamaha powered sub and hooked up a 12 in an old bandpass box.

well that sub died after 20+ years of use and i didnt even know it.(i havent watched a dvd in some time to know)

anyways they are only getting roughly 70 watts between the two and they do well on just that.

i wonder how much more damage i can do with a 250 watt plate amp on these guys.

wow!! these 12's work better in my house than they ever did in my truck.

explosions really ****ing move the house. man with only 35 watts apiece it amazes me.

looks like you found very good use for your 12's. So, it's not a loss at all.

i noticed lol. like i said it booms and thunders. i was taking a nap in my room and left my sis to watch national treasure 2 and if youve seen it then you know closer to the end theres a lot of big boulders crashing into the water and all over just a whole mess of deeeeep rumbling.

i love it. oh and corner loading it helped too.
