Pro Sound drivers for car audio???

    Hell by for my one 15 was 4.3 cu ft usable but the whole box took up 7.3 cu ft including the port volume

    Those types of drivers work very well in a trunk style vehicle......free air....yes, free air.


    As long as the installation IS DONE CORRECTLY. Lots of attention to detail in fibreglass work and such, seat mods, etc......They can POUND HARD when done right.

    But i dont reccomend it for the average car audio types.

    good point viking I didnt even think about using it free air.. the trunk as an enclosure would be perfect.. but like you said.. if you did it right.

    I really wanna do a infinite baffle setup...but I don't have a trunk lol.

    Maybe in the future I'll do one...and come back here and show it.

    I couldn't really find many IB capable 18 inch drivers
