    Hi there,

i wanted to know the differnce in Sound Quality of 2v preout vs 4v preout???

doest it really effect the sound quality?????? if it does what impact would it leave on SQ in terms of detailing, clarity, smoothness, soundstaging, imaginin g etc etc

Few people say it can just increase the GAIN few says it is not the case...
However anybody have experienced it one to one by using different pre?

    Please give your suggestion?????

If the Head Unit has a higher output voltage, you wont have to turn up the gain as much on the amp. This will lessen the chance of clipping and cause less distortion.

when I first put my sysytem in I just used the basic locs (4 volt), then I put in the JL Audio Cleansweep with 8 volts to the amps. My gains are almost at 0 and it really cranks with no distortion.
