Im thinking about running 6 10 inch Jl audio w3 in my car. Right now im running 2 12 inch Kicker L7s (one of them is blown) powered by a JL 1000/1 mono block amp and while i was happy with the sound they gave me im looking to upgrade to something bigger and louder. Now what im wondering is would it be possible to run the 6 10s off of the same amp or would i need to add a more powerful amp or possibly add another 1000/1 amp too keep the load from slamming my old one. Keep in mind my car is a 02 Acura RL and trunk space is limited (which is why im going for the 10s vs 4 12s like i really wanted to) Any ideas on how i could make this work would be a great help. Thank you

6 10-inch woofers in parallel would be 0.66 ohms impedence, so thats a no-no.

However, they can be wired series-parallel and get an impedence around 2.66. That should be OK. Can it be powered by your one amp, yes that should be OK. Keep in mind that a six-10 box will be a little on the large side.
