I want a cheap amp, just so I can get some sound goin in my car, and I know that I want one that doesn't suck, so is power acoustik a very good brand?

Well i hear good things about their power series but bad things about the plasma sphere series. But as far as the dirt cheap amps go they are not too bad. You get what you pay for. There are worse choices out there. Maybe if you tell us what you need and your price range we can find you some nice amps to choose from.

Judd, the amp you linked to is the power acoustik power series.. I have heard those are pretty solid amps as far as being reliable. If you are short on cash that seems like a good choice. It is better than using your head unit to power your speakers at least and pretty darn cheap. Just remember that that amp is not bridgeable if you planned on doing that at all.

okay well then that sounds just perfect. Tell me one thing though, is there a way to make the front speakers run on 2 ohm? The back are 40 RMS and the front are 50, so if I could do that it would be awesome

unless you have 2 speakers to run in the front(2ohm) you wont hear a diffrence between 10 watts.what speakers are you running in your car?

oh...well atleast 40 watts...I mean if you want some to push like 100 watts to a set of components than hear loss is a factor lol
