Post your amp racks

    I am looking into building an amp rack for my 2 JL 500/1 for the trunk of my S40 and wanted to see some of every1 elses for some ideas....

    Maybe they don't like their amp racks that much. Car audio is just as much about showmanship as it is about sound.

    This is my Mercury. The amp and crossover are actually mounted on a Pedestal that holds it about 1-inch (top corner) to 4- inches(bottom corner) off the back board

    what are you guys making the racks out of? 3/4" MDF?

    accually mines a little thinner.1/4inch.

    it's just a cover,but with bracing to support some wieght.

    well mine is going to be 3/4 MDF

    once the temperatures drop below the high 90's here i'll start to build something...im ****ed that i didn't build anything this summer....ARGHH

    sorry guys i haven't started on my 19Ov.2 project...work too much and its just sooo damn hott

    um...earlier this week it was 102*F

    here in PR its at about 90+ but in this days since we got a hurricaine passing below us its been at 85-90

    yeah...its hot as hell haha.

    I can step outside my house in just my boxers and start to get stickey and soon after that start to sweat

    I hate the heat

    lol im used to heat, 365 days of the year is from 85+ here

    90+ passed few days here.at least the nights have been cooler.75 the other night.

    azn.no a/c in your garage?
