    hi fellow audiofreaks,
i`m just wondering if pockets are needed for door & rear fill speakers.
My front 6.5 have factory pockets, but there is no back on this so basically uses the whole internal door. The rears are Mtx 6x8 with no pocket whatsoever.
all 4 speakers are 60 watts RMS which i will push with a 2-channel 150 watts RMS amp
    thanks

I would say don't bother using them. If you want more midbass then you should look into doings some sound deadening to your doors to seal them up. it will make your speakers sound a lot better.

i think the doors have those to protect the speaker from water dripping on to them.
