Got two mtx 8500 thunders, 12inch dual voice coil, rated at 1000 watts peak-500 RMS(each one) now all i need is a amp making atleast 1100-1200 watts? thanks
Ok, Why not......i will make the assumption that you have a big budget....get an old school Orion 2250 SX or 2100 HCCA, depending on your speakers impedance. Either one will kick ass If not one of those, then look to getting a soundstream
T8512-44 Impedance - Dual 4 Ohm Frequency - 39-150Hz RMS Power (Watts) - 500 Rec. RMS Amplifier Power (Watts) - 250-500 Sensitivity - 92.2 dB Voice Coil - 3"
how about these amps? http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/amplifiers/TE1501D.cfm http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/amplifiers/thunder91002.cfm http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=3179 any suggestions will be very welcome. thanks
yeah lets go with this one man http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_5647.html well fit perfectly and its MTX to match the subs. just be careful with your gains as this has more than enough power for those subs. rather have too much in the amp than not enough though.
Awesome amp Dave...perfect. I'd suggest http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=44 or the Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D
