Hey everyone I recently purchased a 1993 Toyota Paseo and upon my purchase the car did not have rear speakers in it so I purchased some and connected them all. (If it is of any relevance there is a amp in the trunk which i think is disconnected I don't want to use it however) the speakers are little 6.5's 200 watts. Anyway, when the car is only running on the battery all the speakers work fine with no issues. However when I start the car all the speakers go out. So after that I disconnect the rear speakers and then the front speakers start working, if I plug the rear speakers back in they stop. If anyone has any suggestions that could be helpful to me I'd appreciate it greatly. Please note i'm not very savvy on car audio. What could this problem be?

    Thanks,
    Nick.

could be that u have a surge somewhere could be caused by a faulty ground, check all grounds! one by one and see if that rules them out!
