i went to the shop today hopin to buy the pioneer 6900ub and the shop did not have it they only sold kenwood, sony,so i asked the guy why they do not sell it and he told me it is because the rca melt when u put a high quality system to the deck have anyone heard this before my dad have been buy it all his life about 15 defferent one and we need had the problem with melt rca if u heard this please say somthing
I just don't see RCA's melting. That guy had no clue what he was talking about. We sell both Pioneer and Kenwood at our shop and we have never had a problem with the RCA's melting. To produce that much heat, we need a lot of current and I just don't see that happening.
I've been sitting here trying to figure out what it would take to make that happen. I haven't come up with anything yet.
I got it, a poor install...an uninsulated portion of a 10 ga unfused wire lays onto the ground of the rca, thereby melting it..... Just a guess Or maybe pioneer has so much output on it rca's that it melts them.....where oh where is my little dog gone, oh where oh where could he be?
maybe they ment the inside where the rcas connect to the main board? there poor quaily soldered on? im just guessing here.
haha another salesman tard...those types of people make me laugh. If it were me I would have laughed in his face
ok this was funny to me and my dad too i thing that he was just trying to sell me a kenwood deck when u go in to the shop it is alway good to play stupid to see how much they really know about there product any is the 6900ub a good pick i look at the 5900ib but i did not like how u control the ipod u can scroll fast on the 6900ub do u guy know anything bad about that one hope it don't melt lol
beside that the rca will melt lol what do any one have the 6900ub i like it better cause u can scroll down your music on the 5900ib u have to press right side of the deck other word it will take forever to find a song on the ipod
You are the one that has to be comfortable with the Ipod interface. So I would recommend that you locate a shop that will let you play with the interface. Also to speed up song finding, use playlists or albums. Ipods are easy to organize. Anyway thats my 10-cents worth
i have the 7800 and i love the hell out of it!!i had a prob looking for my songs too.so like ranger said. i made play lists. it's a piece of cake now.
