ok guys i had 4 kicker comps in a custom box in my hhr wanna go louder i picked up a old school SPL brand amp and it hit amazing on my kicker comps its 18 watt max so i figured its roughly about 700 rms. which one of those subs will put me around the 140db range. or if anyone has any suggestion.

with 4 kicker comps, off a good amp and in a correctly designed box, you should be well nto the 140 range

maybe you should look into a new amp and box instead.

out of the two you chose, i dont think they even belong in the same category...i would definitely go with the rf t1. how many were you planning to put in?

i was thinking only one or two rf t1 i never delt with the pioneers i sold them back when i worked at best buy but never heard them. i always been a gig fan of RF but they were have cone issues there for a while...... so what amp do u think i should use? i thought the ol skool SPL at 700 2 ohm would be ok

if you are going with two rf T1s, assuming you are getting the 12s, they run 600rms each...you should get the 4ohm versions and you could either run the eD nine.1 which puts out an 1200+ at 1ohm for almost half the price of the rf t1500bd
