hi all my problem with this amp is anytime i increase the volume the amp will make a clicking sound until i decrease the volume and then it continues to play and anytime i try to adjust the gain settings on the amp it will make the same clicking sound also when i rest my hand on the amp it will make the same sound is my amp touch sensitive??. right now i have 1 12' imagedynamics sub 200rms and 4 pioneer 6x9 hooked up to it.i am using it in my home it is powered by a dc powersupply which is 12volt 5amperage total output power.I really dont know what is the problem is my amp failing on me any help would be appreciated..

this amp has two 20a fuses. i doubt power is the problem because when i tried another amp the only thing happen was the led on the amp dimmed no clicking sound...

Let me get this right.....your running a car audio amplifier off of a 5 amp power supply?????

this is a VERY BAD idea. I am quite certain that the amp is starving for the voltage and current it needs to achieve any real output. I suggest if you wish to continue using this method, get a 50-75 amp power supply and a sealed battery.
