okidoki, its been one big cluster **** after another installing my ****, but its finally coming down to the wire. when i first installed my head unit (originally a DEH2900, just a model below) no sound whatsoever came from my speakers. we figured out that my factory amp was interfering with the signal coming from my cd player (or some ****) but, we found the culprit and ordered an amp bypass plug (cause i dont feel like performing surgery on my **** and ****in' it up).

anyway, my new head unit is pretty tight, HPF, Sub control, etc. but, when i tool around with my bass settings, i CANNOT GO NEGATIVE. it goes up to +6 but nothing lower that 0. i have not yet fixed the problem explained above, and maybe that has something to do with it, but id think that they shouldnt be related. anyone with the same player experienced this, or does anyone know whats up with that?

Are you sure that your in the right menu?
And interfacing with the factory amp should not have been a problem. Did you use the peripheral interface that I recommended? I am assuming you did not becuase the amp would have worked with that interface.
