Pioneer DEH-2030R code

    hi,

    i've got one of these in car CD players. i need to change the car battery and would like to know if i will need to enter a code when reconnecting.

    if so, where could i get a code from?

    I have never seen a Pioneer with code protection.

    thanks i've heard that. but only from people in america, so i'd like to confirm the same for the uk :)

    There is such a thing as a Memory Saver. Plug it into the aux power outlet (Cig lighter to those that are smokers). Make sure it has power key off, and you should be OK.
