I put this together really quickly and you cant read the text b/c its blak on black....lol Ill fix it up but here it is Click me
I like them a lot but I have not heard many subs so I cant compare them with anything. I guess one of you will have to stop by and listen or wait till I have some numbers. I made the site pertier , tell me what you guys think. I wouldnt mind having a bit more sq but when canb you ever have enough? On a few songs it sounded like the subs were trying to play too mucha t one time and I coulnt figure out the beat they were hitting. It sounded like they were going crazy and doing some random shit.
Wow, I didn’t realize that amp was that big. Geeze, that’s a large amp! The install looks good, how much did you pay for the 10s?
Everyone tells me the thing is huge but the bigger the better right? Mike sold me those subs for $87 each......I believe.
Bigger is better….but only in the right places! But hey that’s why I ran Zapco’s Reference series amps. That amp looks like its bigger than those two 10s I mean the Zapco amps were long but were skinny, that thing just looks large. That’s a pretty good price on the 10s I’m not sure what the average price on the 10s is down here, but the 15s I can get for 135 which isn’t bad either.
Mike what do you think??? Hazard why did they make that damn amp so big? The A7 is half the size of the Z9000 and pushes much more power
Which amp do you mean, the Zapco Reference series amps? Well I read in the Zapco owner manual that basically smaller size cost money so one thing they did to save the consumer money was make them bigger. By doing that they didn’t have to get more expensive compact components like they use in the C2k amps. Basically the closest analogy that I can think of is like laptop and PCs, PCs are cheaper because they are bigger and the parts are cheaper because they are not as compact, where as the laptops are more just because they are smaller and require more expensive compact parts. “While smaller size can be more convenient, it takes much more time to build”-Zapco Reference Series Manual
