So my amp has a LPF and HPF, Powering two 12's. My HU has a Sub Fiolter and booster built in. and its too damn cold out to sit down and tweek it in some parking ot so, what is the best course of action to take?

Tune from the HU, and adjust from the amp, or adjust the HU to 125Hz & 0 boost then tune from amp?

HU has PF of 125Hz - 53 Hz
    and the amp as well.
Should the amp be set for LPF?
LPF means that anything Below what ever adjusted will be cut out right? or is it the other way around?
and same for high pass, if the amp is in HPF and set to 125Hz then anything UNDER 125 will be cut right? am i just hazing a bad thinking day?

for the HighPassFilter... if set at 125hz nothing below that will be played... and for the LowPassFilter nothing above 125hz will be played.

i use the one in my head unit. so set the amp @125 and use the head. it makes for a quick retune if you want. no need to go back and forth.

typically your HU should be set at around 80hz and the amp between 70 and 80hz
