im looking to buy a new HU for my 1999 eclipse RS. I'm gonna have a component setup up front if that makes a difference, and im looking for sound quality and Ipod compatability. I prefer a HU with red backlights incase i rice out the interior with red lights. Price range is 150-200$. panasonic has alaways made a decent unit in my opinion, I have owned 2 over the years and each of them gave great performance for the money....i dont think it would be a bad decision
