Went by a few places today to check on some paint prices.
Best price I found was a place called Fact-O-Bake.

For an enamal paint job with a coat of clear will run about $300 if they furnish material. Not doing this because the dont give a warranty with this paint.

Urathane paint job they give a 5 year no fade, no peel warranty. In this package they do 1 coat primer, 3-4 good coats of paint, and 3 good thin coats of clear. Price of this is about $700

Now if I buy my own material....they charge $345 to spray. I was checking out ebay......i found this... Does this look like its worth the money?

    2 words... spies-hecker

That is the only paint that will touch my car.

That is most likely the same paint they use with their no garentee. Expect to pay at least $75 for a pint of good paint.

How much paint does it take to paint an el camino? Rough estimate......

I think I bought 2 pints for 2 coats on the Nat. It may have been 2 pints per coat, it's been 8 years now and I don't paint cars, but I think it was 2 total.
