    I have 2 Oz audio Vector Series VA2000.1 Amplifiers, I’m trying to find out if these amps will run at 0.6 ohms. I know they run at 1 ohm ok, I want to run 8 x 4 ohm subs to each amp final load 0.6 ohms.so can anyone tell me if they will take it.

    Its only rated to 1 ohm, so I personally would not risk it.

    Taken from the OZ spec page:

    * Remote bass control
    * Two amplifiers can be “strapped” for huge power gains
    * Master & slave inputs / output

    Here is a link for the user manual:

    I would suggest this option to be sure-
    As stated in the user manual:

    If you have any questions or concerns contact your local authorized dealer or call Oz

    I agree with Klinkster. I'd only run a .6 load on a 1/2 ohm stable amp. A 1 ohm stable amp won't fare well at .6 ohms.

    Id do it. Imp rise will put it above 1 ohm. If you have a good electrical, you will be fine I bet. Dont be stupid though. Keep an eye on it and make sure it doesnt get really hot.

    Am i reading ur post correctly? 8 x 4 ohm subs per amp. 2 amps. So you will be running 16 subs? How many batteries u gonna run? 4000 watts of bass is a power hungry animal. And like johnny said. They r going to get very hot. The specs dont list any internal cooling fans.

    i have over 300ah at the moment will be adding 2 more batteries,they say 75ah to 100ah per 1krms. i would have thought that 300ah would be enough to start with but am unsure,also how do you go about working out imp rise.this is my daily ride used most days of the week, i really dont want to blow amps so i may have to run in 2ohm loads which means around 1000 - 1100 rms per amp so 8 subs each amp.thanks guys for the help so far.
