OK, I'm now looking into buyiong an outboard crossover unit. I need something that will have front and rear HP outputs, for a 4 channel amp, a sub out, and an output that I can use to create a bandpass filter, such as for a separate midbass amp. Who makes good crossovers other than Audiocontrol, cause they are expensive. One question though - I won't lose any of my fading ability, right? As long as it has front, rear, and sub inputs, right? Also, a remote level control would be cool too, but I just don't know whats out there. Thanks.
JVC has a 12channel xover that will do all what you need and you can find it new on internet for about 110...
Are audiobahn crossovers decent? I saw this one, which would be just what I would need. My only question would be what kind of voltage does it put out ofthe RCA's? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=14931
Never been a fan of Audiobahn... generally avoid brands you can find at flea markets... I think you should check into this piece... It does way more than the Ab piece for about the same price... but then again, make your own choices...
