Ot Help Finding A Driver :(

    I need the driver for my burner and i can not find it

    lite-on ltr-523275

    is the model number i can find the product on there site but i cannot find the driver

    well I found the Firmware, no driver, I did not think CD Drives had Drivers????

    firmware is more or less the OS(operating system) for the device

    Well in the device manager its has the ! on it so i figured i need to reintalls the driver

    scotty, just uninstall that driver, and see if windows comes up with it automatically, try specifying it yourself.

    Exactly...
    It might be that there's a conflict, which could be resolved that way also.

    Did you install any new hardware of any kind, that caused this to happen? Do you know if it is a conflict, and what it is conflicting with?

    Problem is that dad's gf used the computer last and loaded some stuff on there for her work. BLAH BLAH BLAH she deleted something it didnt need corrupted the registry for it and i had to reinstall so For all who i chat to on the IM programs I will bb soon have to download everything again
