I make fun of ALL equipment!!!! So i couod sit here and type out a big reply as to why it suxs..... But i wont..... To be honest, i know NOTHING about that head unit. And the same holds true for most other HU's on the market in this day and age..... I can tell you this though...Pioneer has been around the block many times, and has a good solid foundation in quality. They generally will not be a bad choice. Th4 BMX technolgy scares me a bit however, not that you have too use, but it might introduce random artifacts of sounds that really dont belong there....I dont know for sure.....would be interesting to see its output on an O-scope when fed a 100 Hz sine wave in the MP3 format..... Anyway....It looks to be a good HU, and would I buy it??? Maybe....it is complex and not readly easy to use in a mobile enviorment...I like things simple and easy...No complexities. But it does have a nice big round volume control..thats a big plus for me, I HATE pushbutton volume....
here is the info on it http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3/pg/product/details/0,,2076_310069882_338833987,00.html looks like a solid unit. Pioneer usually doesnt disappoint. I think that will work out great for a budget headunit. I like the front aux port on it.
