I was given a pair of old kenwood subs 12" KFC W3000, 4 ohm dvc, with max 450w. My question is, where can i find out the RMS rating? Or what size amp should i get to power just one of them?
    Thanx for your help!

Bottom line...too much clean power is better than too little clipped amplifier power! Not sure what or how you listen to your music but on one sub I would look for about a 300 watt amp. enough power to get it loud and allow for some dynamic headroom.

Thanx for your reply Viking, I listen to mostly rock, some rap and a little country. I like it loud inside the vehicle but don't care to get stared at at stop lights. Thanx again!
